Mell What is the model number on a savage 187?
Unlike other Savage Springfield 187s I have seen, it does not have a model number after the 187 on the barrel. It also has a checkered stock instead of a plain stock. Barrel length is 20 inches. Serial Number is B901XXX. Please help identify the model and year. Thanks.
