I told you that the 1100 mag was a dedicated 3″ gun and would not function reliably with 2 3/4″ shells because of the single gas port in the barrel ring, whereas the 2 3/4″ barrels had two gas ports. Put a 2 3/4″ barrel on the gun and it will work.

Your 1100 3″ mag has a single gas port. Usually, fouling in the port is the cause of failure to eject lower power loads. Clean with a pipe cleaner and Hoppes #9. If this does not solve the problem, a trip to the gunsmith to slightly enlarge your single port will solve it.
