Can I use my old Verizon phone with Boost Mobile?
If you have an unlocked Verizon cell phone, you’ll be able to use that phone on a Boost Mobile plan. If your phone is in fact compatible and unlocked, then all you need to do is choose a Boost Mobile plan, wait for your SIM card, and activate your line. Switching is as easy as that!
Can I keep the same number if I switch to Boost Mobile?
Simply head to activate and click ‘keep existing number. ‘ You do not need to contact your previous provider. You can still use the number with your previous provider until the switch to us is complete.
How much is the activation fee for Boost Mobile?
Do I have to pay to activate my phone? There is no activation fee if you activate a new phone using the activation PIN number that comes inside every new phone box. If you don’t have an activation PIN number, then a $10 one-time reactivation charge will apply.
Can you bring an old cell phone to Boost Mobile?
Your old carrier will have to domestically unlock your phone before you can bring it to Boost Mobile. A domestic SIM unlock allows you to insert the Boost Mobile SIM card into your device and attempt to activate it on the Boost Mobile network. Unlocking your device will not necessarily make it interoperable with the Boost Mobile network.
Do you have to keep your boost phone number?

Can a SIM card be swapped to a boost phone?
If your current phone has a Boost Nationwide Network SIM card but has not been activated and is compatible with the Boost Expanded Data Network, you can swap your SIM card to move your phone to the new network.
How do I Find my Boost Mobile number?
Make sure your phone is unlocked, and 850MHz compatible. Then check the SIM card you’ve got is a BOOST one – it’ll have the BOOST Mobile logo on it. Our customer care agent will ask for the Service (mobile) number or SIM serial number which is printed on your BOOST Mobile SIM starter kit.
