The Haber Family Center for History opened as the society headquarters just two years ago. In that time we have served researchers, students, family historians, and curious community passerbys.

Is the city of Lakewood getting a historic preservation grant?

In 2018 the City of Lakewood was awarded a Certified Local Government Grant (CLG) from the Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (DAHP) to complete a reconnaissance level survey of the Oak Park Neighborhood. The survey was completed in the first quarter of 2019.
