I personally wire all 3 phase outlet or supplies with the 5 cable configuration. Call your spark and tell him what you have encountered as it may be the the machine IS 3 phase only without the neutral and the industrial plug is as standard BUT I DOUTE IT. Sounds like 3phase neutral + earth you probably need all 5 pins !
