Added to the showroom today is a pre-owned “Ejercito Argentino” Colt Model 1927 in .45 ACP. It’s one of 10,000 Argentine contract Government Model examples manufactured by Colt between 1914 and 1948. Metal is very good original condition with usual edge wear.

Lt.Col Ara was Director F.M.A.P. in Argentina, they made the Sistemas in Rosario, Argentina. Looks like a previous post was lost when the power here went off. Anyway, that pistol is a bit unusual in having the Argentine serial number on the right side of the frame in script.
