I have a Coly Government Model .380 that has developed an extraction problem. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is a design flaw and if there is a “fix” or as I suppect just a case of bad extractor?
How many rounds does a 1911 380 fire?
I put about 200 rounds throught it in a year (I usally carry a 1911 put about 2000 throught it). It only fails to extract 1-3 rounds in 50 fired. Just enough to cause concerns. No obvious damage to extractor but where I have to pull the extractor out of my 1911 the extractor on the .380 slides out.
